Dawn Michelle "Shelly" Lay, 56, of West Frankfort, Illinois passed away Saturday June 29, 2024 in her residence.
Shelly was born February 5, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois to Allen and Patricia (Loveridge) Lay. She was a member of First Baptist Church – West Frankfort.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Shelly is survived by her sons, Kyle (Samantha) Cox and Layton (Madison) Cox; mother, Patricia Lay; brothers, Danny (Debra) Ridgeway and Rocky (Julie) Ridgeway; sisters, Becky (Jerry) Porter and Tammy (Clay) Gerrell; grandchildren, Margaux and Rutledge.
It was her wish to be cremated.
